Harrison Commons Revitalizes Tired Industrial Town

August 01, 2011

A tired town is getting a big boost from this major revitalization project. The Pegasus Group and Ironstate Development has designed and in the process of developing this mixed-use area with what will include 3,500 luxury rental units and retail shopping.

Daron Rosenberg Creative was contracted by The Pegasus Group to photograph the process. We began photographing the project in September of 2007, documenting the demolition work, ground breaking ceremony and now each phase of the construction. This first building is quite large, including 275 units, outdoor pool, sundeck, and retail space, so to capture the scope of this phase some of the best views are from the roof of a nearby parking structure and the nearby elevated Path train station.

The above photos are of the completed building, the first of 13 buildings. Below are shots during the construction phase.

This first building has been named "Harrison Station" and has exceptional transit access: steps from the PATH and from a new parking structure, minutes from Newark, Jersey City, Hoboken, Manhattan and Newark Airport.
